Wivenhoe Kitchen's First Christmas!

Christmas is definitely coming and we are really excited to be ready to launch our first Wivenhoe Kitchen Christmas menu.

It's safe to say Christmas is going to be very different for a lot of us this year, and making plans in advance is challenging to say the least!

With that in mind, we have created a small (but perfectly formed!) menu for you; a couple of nibbles and snacks, two main courses that will fit perfectly into any Christmas feast and of course, some sweet treats! So, here it is..............

We’ve had great fun experimenting with different taste combinations and we’re really happy with this Festive Wellington - a perfect dish for Christmas Day.

This is a photo of our shallot, mushroom and chestnut pie. Having tested it, we’ve decided that rather than offering both main dishes with pastry, we’ll prepare this delicious pie topped with creamy mashed potato.

You can start pre-ordering now via Facebook, Instagram and e mail and via the website later this week (once we’ve added the dishes to the website). You can also choose to collect your food from the Kitchen on the 19th or 23rd December or we will be offering free delivery in Wivenhoe on the 19th.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for your support and for helping Wivenhoe Kitchen to get off to such a great start.
