Have you ever wanted to run your own small business? If the answer is yes, read on.
We started Wivenhoe Kitchen in September 2020 and have loved every minute of the project. For a business that started in a pandemic, it exceeded all of our expectations. As you know, we have limited our trading to one day a week because of our other commitments and this was hugely successful. However, the time has now come where we either need to make it a full time endeavour, pass the business on to someone else or close the doors and cease trading.
Ideally, we’d love for someone to take it over because the demand for our products is definitely there but it needs expanding and neither of us are in a position to do this. So, are any of you interested?
The business is based in the Wivenhoe Business Centre, rent is reasonable, business rate exempt and has two allocated parking spaces (that can also be used as an outdoor seating area). We fitted the kitchen out with high spec equipment, all of which will remain. The premises also has an upstairs admin/storage area and it’s own toilet!
We have a fabulous website that is easy to manage and the website designer is always on hand to offer support or make changes as required. We would be happy to leave all of this recipes for the dishes that have proved most popular and work alongside you for a period of time to get you started and introduce you to our loyal customers.
If we don’t get any interest from budding entrepreneurs, we are sorry to say that we will be closing the business at Easter and we will be very sad to say goodbye to all of you.
All that remains is for us to thank you for supporting us through what have been quite extraordinary times and for making our foray into small business management such an enjoyable experience.
With our very best wishes
Bev & Julie
